almost had one myself, but a deal sprung up for an e46 m3, plus i would have had had to wait almost 2-3 months+ for my specific color combo + options, when I wanted a car immediately.

at least to say, i love my e46 and wouldn't trade it for a 1 series...almost ever

Loving the LM's on the 1 series. Such a cool car. BR Racing (Los Gatos) gave me a ride in their modified 1 series, when I flew up north to pick up a Dinan Mini Cooper S.

Whoa. I hadn't heard anything about a 1 series hatch coming. I heard that the tii version got shot down by corporate. Major bummer there.

Hatch would be nice!

I know theres someone at the village apartments next to irvine spectrum that has an amazing 1 series, my sister said she talked to him and apparantly has over 400bhp?! I dont know if hes on this forum though but the car looks amazing!!

It's probably either Robert or Ansun. Jb3, DPs, cat-back exhaust and your pretty close to 400bhp on the n54. Leave a note and hopefully he joins up!

Phiber, can you share some impressions on your rocket? Have you done a lot of mods?

I've only driven a stock 135i. I liked it. But I imagine it must be a lot more fun with some mods.

Well, I have a 128 so it's not exactly a rocket :D

It's basically stock at the moment, I plan on doing either coils or springs/shocks + wheels in the next few months. The stock suspension + RFT makes for a really bouncy ride, and some body roll (of course it's better than my e38 =p) I'm enjoying it so far though. Once I get the car more planted and some more rubber it should be a lot of fun. Need to get rid of this understeer.
