Things you have or had to sacrifice on building your car

As we have alot of people here who are mod crazy as me, let's list down the things you have to give up/ sacrifice when building your car and pls explain on why you keep on doing it:)

I believe money is probably the most obvious but I think time would be a close second. But even then I think I was able to take alot from those hundreds of hours spent under the hood. Alot of great mammeries have come out under that hood.

I've sacrificed quite a bit of things... starting with getting the car instead of focusing on buying a house haha! The biggest sacrifice for me has to be not saving...I have no savings right now haha..and I would like to get a house in the next year or so so I must get started on that

+1 on money for things like savings, a home, etc.

I sit there and think if I didn't have the car I could have so many other things I want... but then I get in the car and go for a drive; and it all seems to balance out.

IMO next yr should be a good yr to buy houses :D

in the next two years will be a damn good time...people are still dropping out on their mortgages and there is no clear way of saving them as of right now.

When the bank credit starts to bounce back, they will begin to offer INCREDIBLE rates to get people to spend money again, when this happens, the prices of houses should have stabilized and rates will be prime picking. and they will be a bit eager to start getting some more "stable" money back and not have this crisis again

Yep. I know in the Phoenix area foreclosures are getting insanely cheap. $1.5m homes going for $500k, and $500k homes for $100k.
To bad I have no desire to stay in Arizona longer then absolutely necessary.

I'm a graphic designer, but looking at going back to school and getting my MBA while continuing to work.
Figure if I can combine that with my creative skills, I can really open my options in advertising/marketing.

well i sacrificed my gf (ex gf now a year ago) because she would complain about the car and how i would always spend alot of money on it (a stupid b*tch she was). oh and money.. i would be ballin' it up right now if i didnt have my car. i would have a phat rolex watch on my wrist and just all designer clothing in my closet. :D
