Driving Stability Malfunction!

HELP!!

This morning on my way to the office I received a Drive Stability Malfunction. When I click on this message it takes me to a screen with a message that says "Driving Stability - Drive control system malfunction. Reduced driving stability in curves. Drive moderately! Based on other forums it looks like it may be an altenator or battery issue.

Hopefully it's something minor.
Like you said in your post try the minor things first. Could be just a bad sensor.

If you don't want to go to the dealer, there are a few trusted techs in your area that work on BMWs.

it's a battery issue...you'll notice it'll happen more frequently as time goes by unless you replace your battery.

Same thing happened to my old E60 545i (2004)...I was even getting several other codes randomly, active steering malfunction, suspenion components fault, car died at idle twice, alarm goes off randomly...etc

go to battery plus...replacement is about $250-280 i believe
