Not sure why they opted for non BMW motor coz they could have gain the same or more HP and TQ with the BMW engine, or maybe they use the Corvette motor coz thats the only one available to them...

easier to maintain probably. But I wanted to see the limits and what the 1M motor was capable of..

Cheaper to maintain and alot cheaper to make power! im sure they could build 2-3 chevy motors to the price of a v8-10 bmw motor. Plus they can probably get parts much easier if needed.
