Today we were at VF Engineering for an MFest related Toys for Tots charity event that we co-sponsored. One of the main features of the gathering was a $75 deal on getting runs done with the very liberal Dyno Jet Dynometer. It's been a while since I last dynoed the touring and thought might as well see what has happened to it since...It's been running rough lately...Might as well see what I really need to focus on it now...

The VF techs were very friendly...and told me from the get go that I have some error codes. They said I needed to replace an O2 sensor (great...), my MAF was too enlarged with the current ECU settings I have which is the main reason why the touring is running a bit lean...All the more great...So off to a bad start...Damn cosmetic mods, I really have to focus on getting the performance edge of this touring once more...A lot of software editing.

They said that if the touring was to too lean, Nick would pull the plug on the rest of the run...While they were latching up Arnold, I said to myself...I hope I break at least 220 horses to the wheel!!! Better yet, Arnold at least get through the whole session!!!

Sad day all right...I did a total of about 6 runs. 5 out of 6 runs were in the 238 rwhp range...The VF Crew promised to email me my dyno graph tomorrow...

For now, I have pics and some vids of today's run...

The second run...it dropped to 213 because the stepping of gas didn't properly sync up...that's what you get for having a steptronic system still...(i know i know, i'm working on the tranny swap)...

Seems like you were not the only one having problems with you car on the Dyno yesterday... My car threw errors before even got on the Dyno yesterday tried to clear them and got the car running and it died half way through the run 6000rpm @ 451hp.... Hopefully we can both get out cars fixed and back on the dyno ASAP!..
