I have a bed frame made out of Iron that I had powder-coated a couple of years ago but I don't like how it turned out and I want to strip it back to the bare metal. The shop that did it said that once it's been powder-coated I can't go back to the raw Iron again. Is that true? Any suggestions?

It's probably because powder coating is much more intense than just painting over but i'm sure you can still take it off ( it's just probably labor intensive )
