T'erre's Alpine M3/2/5 ( first M car )

picked up this M3 this past Saturday from Houston , it drives okay . the seller, unfortunately, lied about a few things . My friends and I gave it a lookover and it seems not to be leaking any fluids which is good. However the car has alot more miles than he claimed , it's sitting at 198,380 miles as we speak. The paint is decent condition , the clearcoat is peeling in spots and the interior is a bit dirty , which isn't hard being that interior color is Dove -_-.

Another bad thing is that the tires are completely bald up front and they are installed backwards ( directional tires ) . As for the rears , they are some cheap tire called the " raptor " , no worries because i have a set of Apex ARC 8 wheels ( 18 x 9.5 et 35 ) wrapped with a set of BF Goodrich G force KDW2 tires , both fairly new. other than a few cosmetic issues , the car runs fine .

However , being that this car is a 95 ( build date 12 / 94 ) if falls under the category of having the " weak " or " need to be replaced " valve retainers and unfortunately it's a labor intensive job that requires a special tool that should cost me somewhere in the area of at least $2,000 ( please correct me if i'm wrong ). so it's going to be awhile before this car see's any track days or auto X events.

after i get this car caught up in maintenance , i'm going to start modifying the car here and there.

my past car , 1999 BMW 328ic . purchased with 59,000 miles a few tasteful mods and sold with 92,600 miles. i took good care of that car , it was beyond mint if you ask me. wish i could say that about my current M3 -_-

nothing new , just cleaned the car today . the past owner clearly did not give a darn about this car. it's pathetic . :thumbsdown:... my Apex ARC 8s go on Monday

old updates , well my buddy and I lowered the car a few inches and we also pulled the fenders . Took us about 6hrs total to pull and roll both rear fenders. with alcohol breaks here and there :P

I will be attending Mfest this year :clap: , not taking the M3 though. i'm co pilot with my buddy Matt Quick ( RandomQuickness ) in his 996 Turbo. looking forward to meeting everyone , i'm beyond exciting at this point.
