Hey guys!!! So I last year we wanted to get our photos together and make a thank you, here's our trip post, but we never got around to (yes, 366 days and we didn't do it..) so I figured I'd bypass the let me edit the pics and post a thank you and some pics anyway...
My boyfriend and I randomly talked about doing MFEST probably in October 2010, jokingly, and somehow ended up in his 2002 M5 together for 32hrs (2369 miles) in April. We caught up with the guys from TX and rolled in to NV in style. Had a ton of fun, made some cool new friends and decided we were doing it again! So when we got the DVD we brought friends over and showed them our pics, told them about our experience and they all said they'd do it in 2012. They call us MVM (https://www.facebook.com/MillaVipeMotors) ;)
Fast forward to this year, the Florida "caravan" ended up being two cars - my 2000 M5 and our friend's 1995 M3. Same thing, 2389miles together with some epic win in there somewhere. Once again, we loved coming out, the people are so nice and things are so organized. We have been bitten by the MFEST bug for sure. Apparently so much so, that the boyfriend ended up proposing to me at the track on Saturday!!!!! :) so not do I only thank the staff for putting on such an awesome event, the people we met for being so friendly and for showing us a good time, but I'm also thankful for the MFEST crew for allowing us to share such a special moment with you guys.
Anyway, we'll be back next year. We already came up with a plan on what car to bring, what to do, etc. We're exhausted, a bit low in the bank account, but we're excited to tell everyone about MFEST VI and hopefully seriously talk more people into coming next year. This is now our tradition and our only vacation.
