Well the stage 3 car that looses here is the mod list and it has beat several socal vf stage 2 cars.

Red gt28 car

We started with a good 2.7 engine.We also wanted to use all S4 APB parts and not have to spend $$$ on RS4 parts.

- Pistons & Rods. Low compression 2.8L with stock stroke.
- Balanced by a guy who builds 2500HP engines
- Ported & polished 2.7 heads
- Valve springs
- 2.8 cams
- Port matched stock intake manifold & TB
- ER ICs with carbon shrouds
- Basic ASP GT2860 kit w/cats
- Steel flywheel with CM clutch
- PureMS Engine/rear stern mounts
- ASP diff mount
- JHM shifter with stock S4 gear box
- Stasis tracksports
- Stasis Front Alcons + B5 rear kit
- Sparco Evo seats
- Stock wheels for the "Stock" look
- Carbon hood
- No back seats/spare tire/tools
- Roll bar
- 3440 with/o me in the car
- race fuel tune that is not 100% done. The car will be faster in the next few weeks. We will also tune the car on 91oct next month and try to hit 2.3-2.4 FATs on pure 91oct with NO WMI. So how much power does this car make ? We don't know yet but should be around 700WHP.
* I have "0" misfires, No CEL, Smooth as a stock S4, No boost gauge or other BS inside the car, No oil or smoking issues. Starts and runs very well : ) can be used as a daily or weekend race car at the track. We will be back at the strip in a few weeks to lay some good numbers. Our last visit didn't go that well but we have learned, made some changes that should give us what we're looking for.

You can find a nice b5 s4 for like 15k motor with turbos and everything installed probally like 18k and then suspension mounts ,clutch and other misc parts like 4k. so yeah not that bad i guess

yeah but a stage 3 with a good tune wipes out a blower m3
