This thread is for meant for movie reviews that we have seen. I think it'd be a good idea to someone to post up a review on a specific movie they have seen in the last 2 weeks. I d/l and watch movies all the time so I think it'll be good to share opinions. I'm not a professional movie reviewer. :D Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course.

Please include a rating that you feel the movie is worthy of.

I think this will keep people updated on current movies and give them an idea of whether or not to go watch them or buy them on DVD.

I forgot to include the quick way I am rating these movies. It's a total from 3 angles of review.
1. Filmography - How visually appealing the movie is to you.
2. Acting - I think this is obvious...
3. Storyline - How the movie it keeps your mind involved and attention captured mentally.
4. Enjoyability - Is the movie worth watching to you?

The scores are best out of 10 for each category. Add the 4 together and divide by 4, simple.

To start it off.
As the title says: Ember City
I have to say, I never heard of this movie before until I downloaded it. It's based upon a book and the movie itself is good. It has it's quirky moments and great for kids. It gives you the same feel you get from "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and "Nim's Island". I'd recommend this for anyone who has kids or little nieces and nephews, cousins that you want to keep busy for a while.

I'd give it a 7.8 out of 10. It has some cheesy graphics but the story pulls it through, as with most children's/young adult movies.

Well to start off, I have to say that I was watching with my girlfriend's nephews since I downloaded it for them.

We watch:
Hulk vs. Thor
The animation was lacking in the sense that it was American drawn. We are used to anime and the detail that the Japanese use in their cartoons. But, then again different people different strokes right? The storyline was alright, and reminded me of when I was a kid waking up on Saturday morning to go watch toons on channel 5 and 11 from like 6:30am to 10:00. LOL Man those were the days.
Anyways Hulk vs. Thor was a good short film/cartoon/OAV. Had hardly any blood but I guess it got it's rating as PG-13 from the violence. It was kinda boring...

Rating: 6.3/10

Hulk vs. Wolverine
Hulk vs Wolverine was a bit better. You didn't have the Asgardian accents like the previous film, but it had way more action and more blood. Keep that in mind with kids under the age of 10. (Although I think kids under 10 are so desensitized by today's society that probably a 6 year old can watch it now.) It gave a back story for Wolverine which was semi-accurate (about 30-45% true). Deadpool's comments are hilarious throughout the film, since I guess he is the comic relief and lives up to his wise-cracking history. They make Sabertooth and Omega Red look so weak too. haha

Rating: 7.6/10

This movie is based upon the hit series written by Stephenie Meyer. I had watched it with my girlfriend as she had read all of the books and is in love with vampires... (Guess I need to become a vampire...) Anyways, from my perspective, the movie was very slow. With a running time of 121 minutes, 2 hours! I was not enjoying it. I think I had fallen asleep at certain parts.

To my g/f, she was disappointed as the movie did not follow the storyline of the books, as usual. She did not find the lead actor who played Edward as attractive as everyone was hyping up to be, nor was the lead actress. Nonetheless, since it was vampires and was based upon the series of books that she so loves, she gave it leeway in her rating and the background/environments shot were awesome I have to admit.

My Rating: 6/10

G/F's Rating: 7/10

LoL, I found this film somehow! lol It's pretty stupid but it has bewbies in it haha. I think that may speak for itself for most of the guys here. The movie itself was released in 2003 but still has comedic parts in it that I think many of the guys and gals can laugh at.

This is a movie that you should probably watch while you're drunk or with a bunch of friends with nothing else to do.

Rating: 6/10

This is the last movie review for tonight.

This movie is badass. Although it is in subtitles, it's not really bothersome at all. The action and filmography is great in the movie. This is the result of awesome directing, acting and evolution for the film industry from Korea.

The rating: 9/10 A must see!
