I noticed this in all the Bmw's we have, the door sills get scratched up. I try my best to keep my cars sills clean and scratchless but there is always that one person that steps on it or something. What is the best way to clean it and get rid of scratches other then replacing them?

Thats kinda hard as the sills are clear coated aluminum (easily scratched) what i would do is put a clear film on top of it and when you do show you take it off...I noticed this in all the Bmw's we have, the door sills get scratched up. On the black plastic part, I use good o'l electrical tape. Protects the plastic from scuffs and what nots & can be remove easily without residue. It also blends in pretty well. I use the good stuff of course and not the cheap-os.
