hi,
my name is Valdis. Found this forum while looking for track events around San Diego area and instantly decided that mfest 2009 is the event I must attend.

I'm from Latvia, but I'm doing my flight training in San Diego and since am a car enthusiast then this seems the best way to see how you guys do it here in the States and as well meet up with people with the same interests :)

I drive an e46 M3 while here and a e60 530D and Nissan skyline r33 gts-t (track car for drifting) back home.

its a r33 gts-t 1996 vspec . 370hp, a little bit over 400nm running 98 grade petrol at 1.0bar boost.
bought it from japan and most of the mods were done there. I adjusted it a bit more for drifting. The previous owner used it mainly for track what could be told by the settings when i received the car. lots and lots of fun, but not for everyday use because of the diff. and suspension...

Cool. That's how we threat all newbies on the forum but once we meet them in "real life" then we make them carry our bags and run errands for us :laughhard: Oh btw, put your name on the list for caravan on March 7th.

this is actually very true in Northern California... there is also a mandated test drive of the n00bs car :D (i reserve my test-drive for the skyline :laughhard:)
