This past weekend I was able to really put the V1 holder to the test as i was driving up to Vegas....I picked up 6 bogies and 2 coming from behind:eek: as i passed them I reinstalled the V1 to the windshield (original position) to test the effectiveness on the rear and got nothing from behind:( ...put it back and used the EAS mount and got plenty of signal....it just shows that placement of the Valentine One is also critical...

Thank you EAS for doing this product!!!:hail:

I highly recommend this one to anyone with V1...easy isntall and easy to slide the V1 (in and out)

Yeah, that bracket will pay for itself many times over with one radar save. IMO a heavy dose of awareness and common sense, plus a good radar detector are mandatory on the I-15 run to L-V. Enforcement mostly seems to be of the moving variety, although I've noticed that leaving L-V and driving into the setting sun, stationary CHP will set up fairly openly on the roadside during the hour+.

So this radar, what exactly does it do? not to familiar with it. does it detect cops or speeding cameras? Whats the distance that it can read?

chris, is it better to hardwire the v1 with the eas mount or this isn't prossible?

Yes it's better to hardwire the V1 ( i have yet to hardwire it to Lucio:(), I have to of the mounts one on LoLa and one on Lucio (Z4MC) i ordered the extra holder from V1 so i can use one V1 for both cars and easy on and off the car:woohoo:

I Picked up an HID kit for my sis's car today during lunch. Told him what I needed and he had it on his desk ready to go for me right when I walked through the door.
