Not a BMW! but my GT-R with BBS LM's Pics!

Its not a Bimmer but here are my pics of the GT-R that I just recently secured.

Mods:
Swift 1 inch springs (Thanks SP Engineering)
BBS LM's (Thanks ED and HMS/Orange County)
All Orange removed (Thanks to Ed and HMS again)
Painted Calipers (Stuttgart Performance)
Pics by Auktane- not even his job just a hobby and makes all of the cars he shoots look better!

HKS GT570 package is awaiting my 1000 mile service and then it will be a real screamer. As for now, I have the Cobb Accessport which gives it a 30-40 hp gain and the car is amazing from a dig. I can see why guys run 11.01's with just this tune in custom format at 125+ traps. While it doesnt seem to advance as much at higher speeds (130+) like the 997TT (modded) and my M6 (medium modded) it still is an amazing piece of machinery for price. The DCT shifts faster than the M6 IMHO and handling is crazy. In turns where I needed to make human adjustments with my 997TT- this car seems to be doing it on its own. Im sure the placebo effect will wear out but I dont think anytime soon!!

Thanks for all the props, classy forum!!! My buddy posted this at the M3 forum and the responses were a bit different. The GT-R is not for everyone Ill tell you this but it grew on me so I had to get it!!!

997TT or the GT-R?

Great question, right now because its new, I like the GT-R but its not faster at speeds over 100 than the 997TT. The 997TT is modded and very fast but what amazes me is the handling and stock acceleration that the GT-R has. Im very afraid to see how strong this car will be once I install the HKS GT570 package. The Turbo is so raw and wants human input while the GT-R is robotic and allows your brain to push the car to limits, sometimes maybe too far. In the Porsche, you know where you stand but the computers in the GT-R are always correcting and adjusting the driveability. Thats why I love both so much--- Oh I love the M too but Shamu is becoming a bit old :)
