To answer some of your Q's
1. Yes there is a track fee (price will be around $150-$175) for the full day...
2. There will be a registration process for the EVENT (price still being determined) and the track aswell...
3. We'll have more info on the track and the event very soon, pls alwyas check this thread, as we'll walk you guys through everything and try to answer your Q asap!
4. As for the drifting, were thinking of doing one....We'll have to see how the layout and how much space were getting....
5. Were also planning on renting a go kart facility for friday...
This will be all dependent with the availability of the facility and timing of course;)

I dont want to sound like a downer, but I just heard about this over at e90post
I know its open to anyone really, I have a 335i, and would like to come check out all the cool stuff, but I dont really want to 'register' for the car show and such, possibly the track day, but for the rest of it, I would just like to come check out all the vendors and the cool cars and such. Would that be allowable or doable or do you need to register to have a pass to events and such? Not to mention, my guest I would be bringing would not want to pay for that for sure, nor would I want to pay for him either, haha.
That and with trips to Vegas I get free room offers from some places, so I would want to just use that and then just meet up where the events are.
I would like to caravan out from Denver though, as that would be a blast rocking that route with a large group.
Like I said, I dont want to be a downer, just dont know what the whole registration entails and dont have a modded car (yet...would be checking things out at this event).
It looks fun though, and I would love to attend!

No not at all bradah and we would love for you and your friends to come out and enjoy the festivities for that weekend...the rooms you can book on different hotel of your choice to save you cost ( I highly suggest keeping it at the hotel or at least close to the hotel were we will be staying at (details of the hotel will be posted asap) as that's were some of the action will be:) )...but you have to pay for registration and track time (autocross will be free for registrants)...it doesn't cost that much and very affordable to register, (were still gauging the registration and will post it up soon:) @ $125-$150 and we'll also offer discounts to early registrants)... you can pm me anytime and I would gladly answer your questions and or concerns...

As long as the 335's are making 350rwhp and up its cool, haha. It'll give us something to mess with during the trip. Last year brought my friend who drove down with his TS2+ S/C 330i and he had a blast.

We have worked and considered City Center but they cannot accommodate the number of cars (open area and everyone has to walk a good 15/20 min to get to their cars, we wanted something more secure/ private and accessible for all partipants) and people were bringing, not to mention the rates are a little high on the side aswell...its a good spot but to tight inside (including the rooms and they are really small inside), it'll be hard for everyone...its going to be at the city center, its a combination of 3 or 4 hotels.

i totally agree with this... i took a walk through all of City Center during New Year and it's way too small to accommodate the number of cars... The private parking we had last MFEST just isn't attainable @ city Center.

Hi everyone!
As you can see I'm new on this site & aswell as you all, I love my "baby" BMW.
If possible, I'd like some info and advice/help about this amazing event "MFEST". I would really like to come to MFest, but I'm from Europe and i don't know how to organize myself for the trip. I mean, should I rent a car(M series of course) for this journey or anyone could give me a ride between L.A and Vegas? If anyone needs a driver it would be my pleasure to do it.
Do you already know the prices for each thing: regisration fees(with or without car), hotels, party entries, etc... Which are the hotels the "MFEST" will stay at?
Thanks for your help, see you soon, R

No worries, just the earlier the better...might end up going to Long Beach for the Grand Prix, have friends that own are bar there and can get me hooked up well for it and its the same weekend. Just trying to figure out which looks to be my destination..as of now, I am leaning Vegas, but free room, booze, and gorgeous girls galore and NO miles put on the car are hard to pass up as well. R/T for $180ish. Thats part of my impatience, lol.

LB Grand Prix vs. M-fest IV? It's not even a hard decision homie! Think about it. You want to watch the action? Or be a part of the action? At the Grand Prix you can watch cars go around and around and around and look at girls that you're not going to talk to or you can join the likes of close to 400 BMW enthusiasts who give a **** and actually talk to you. M-fest is going to be dope but it sounds like you're concerns are more financial. Don't be cheap! That's for birds. Cheep...cheep...cheep...cheep! So stop talking about free cerveza, free rooms and NO miles! Cars were meant to be driven so live a little and go to M-fest. Besides, if you had a virgin would you not want to bang the **** out of her? Or would you want to keep her mileage for the next man. C'mon carnal. Get with the program.

Welcome!
Are you planning on flying into LA instead of directly to Vegas? I'm not sure if there are any rental places that rent M cars but I'm sure someone can find out. And with the camaraderie here as well as the huge mass of M owners driving from the Southern California area, I'm sure someone will give you a ride to Vegas. Just stay tuned to this thread/forum for more info as the date approaches.
Either way or where ///MFest is going to be, it is going to be the S&!T......

I understand this...as for not talkin to the girls...trust me, talkin to em in Vegas or in LBC wont make a diff, it happens :D I can just get really cheap air right now, so the sooner I can pander one idea off on another, the better. As for mileage...I already roadtripped the car from Portland OR when I bought it and then out to LBC and up to SF and back to CO, so its had its share of fun!
I know where my heart lies....Vegas + cars > then LBC and race and girls, been there done that, but its a great time, my friends live basically where the track is. I do however want to track the car some...I know where I will probably end up though, haha

Haha, my wingman/roomate would be riding out for the weekend, haha. Im not a good looking guy at all, just cant be afraid to approach anyone ;) Like I said, I know what Id rather do but timing and planning are key for each. That and it would be badass to roadtrip in a caravan out from the east, I assume they are rolling I-70 into Denver and through the Rockies then down I-15, and if they roll I-80 to I-15 im 30 mins from there too...so that would be fun. Ive personally had the speedo pegged on the trip, haha, cant imagine what it would be like with a bunch of badass cars, haha

I am in Loveland. Some of the guys over at e90post.com have expressed interest in coming as well. I would hope there would be more then a 2 car caravan this time...seeing as there may be a caravan coming from the east. We would just have to hope for good weather outta Denver and over Vail. I have UHP A/S tires as my summers so I can get around in *LIGHT* snow, but not more, lol.

Personally, it sounds like Bimmerfest is having venue issues............ It will probably happen, although maybe not at the polo grounds this year. But I digress. What the hell is bimmerfest? We're talking about a NEW global movement with MFEST IV, "The Proving Grounds".
As far as MFEST goes, it's still very early in the new year. It takes time to secure everything (hotel/track/car show/party). Having said that, and attended MFEST III, rest assured that the organizers for our event are doing the absolute best to give us the best experience ever, ever! It takes time to negotiate all of the aspects of the event. After my first MFEST event (MFEST III), and talking with our experts, it takes time to work out all of the financial details with our host locations. I've heard of many behind the scenes efforts to keep costs down, the fun factor high, access to the track AND the vendors who support us that are willing to give us testing time with their products. I'm only scratching the surface here. Whatever the costs come down to will give MFESTERS the biggest bang for their buck(s). Each year, it only gets better. I'm already seeing things that get me VERY excited about this years boogie. Please save up yer duckettes, have patience, and watch for more exciting things for this event that haven't even been discussed yet!
One werd - EPIC!!!! GUARANTEED!!!
