I recently got my O2 sensors replaced at SouthBay autohaus and Qais and Mark told me that some people uses aftermarket O2 sensors and often the O2 sensors prematurely wear out and cause the NOX to run high...they recommend to use OEM O2 sensors for our cars...some note to share with everyone...

Most BMW models use Bosch O2 sensors. The only engine that doesn't use Bosch are the M52 and S52 engines used in the E36 and Z3 models. They use the NTK brand from the factory.

Make sure the oem part number is the same...just like the the Mafs people have been using the VW but from testing (M5m3mc) found out that the OEM performs better and does not mess up on your mixture...

How much? Did you notice any performance and fuel consumption changes?

Performance wise i notice a difference , smooth and better throttle response and fuel consumption is down from 16-17.4 mpg combined miles...but Southbay autohaus replaced my MAFS and plugs per their recommendation and got the ecu to re learn everything all over again, i can't be happierHow much? I recently tripped an 02-related SES. Unplugged it, plugged it back in, no SES since. In the process though, I priced some. I *think* I found them for something like $59o/l...and $259(ea!) at the stealer$hip.

Is there a clip of it here? I'll see if I can post mine (just Sebrings- resonator). If so, you have to listen for the hagging wife at the end.:D
