Police attitude towards your m3

Hello! Today i got pulled over Again for license plate, and tinted windows. the funny part was this.. he pulled me over came and talked to me like a cocky SOB and then he go roll your windows up alittle then he goes ok your tint too. im like wtf??? and then he flashed like 3 freakin spot light on my car. 1 was at my left side mirror, direct flash into my eye, 2nd was direct to my rear view mirror and that was blinding as well and third was the right mirror, i was like HOLY **** how much light do you ****in need! :mad: then he called me out and said ok im a nice guy so im gonna do this , your getting a ticket for license plates and tint, and also im gonna let you know that you have a LOUD exhaust, i said wait my exhaust is stock, he goes nope its not i said go check.. the officer goes my buddy heard you from back there when you accelerated, and you know who it was it was my friends exhaust that i was following (e46 m3) that got me mistaken for loud exhaust, but he warned me im like ok, and he couldn't help but say " NICE CAR BTW" im like Thanks SIR! then im off...

Next time, I'd say the window switch is broken.. The west side is a rough area, I have gotten like 4 parking tickets down the street from my office...

Hey Johnny, where was this at? Don't you have that CHP cover plate? If you have a friend that are law officer get the ticket write off and pay the fine but at least you do not have to take down the tint :D

that would be cool if you did that ... i have to pay a speeding ticket soon :mad: of 169 $$ not that bad but just suck .... to spend money on a ticket when you can spend it on a mod or something

Not just the M3's the e60 M5 guys get it too. I am a legit member (unlike others) of the 11-99 foundation and it has done nothing for me. I am also extremely polite and much older than most of you here. I got pulled over like 5 months ago going to Willow for the day. I got pulled over cause of the other 6 M5's hauling ass on the freeway infront of me and he could not catch them.

I got off the freeway, turned left and his lights come on. I pull into a gas station and he blocks a motorcycle that was parked. He comes up and asks for DL and proff of insurance, I give that to him plus my 11-99 ID card. The 11-99 foundation say when you get pulled over present your drivers license and 11-99 ID card. I did and he say all smug, "I am glad you did this, I am going to let them know to revoke your card". I am like WTF? He then says, "look what you did, you blocked that bike from leaving, you should aplogize to him". I said excuse me, that was your fault not mine, I am in the stall, you are blocking him, you say your are sorry. He then proceeds to give me a ticket for window and plate. He also asks "were my other friends went", I said I have no idea what you are talking about. I am very polite, using yes Officer sir and no Officer sir, yet he is still the biggest cock.

So thats my story.

i got a ticket for intake awhile back, and i had to pay $400. instead of fixing it I fork out the whole thing so i woulnt have to fix it. see its because I would have to take out my supercharger and I wasnt about to do that anytime soon, cop was a total A__ Hole from
Irvine, thats why I wont go to meets there anymore.

knock on wood. All I can do is be respectful and hope they are somewhat of a cool officer. Tickets are rough, especially with this economy, you would hope they would save the tickets for the true morons on the road. There are plenty of them around, imo.

My luck has run out i guess. I fooled around for too long and i guess my punishment was getting 3 tickets in a month and a half. Going to traffic school tomorrow morning at 8 to take care of one of them lol

god i hate cops...stories like this piss me off!!! here is mine a few weeks ago i decided to go get something to eat i turn left on my street then turn right this is literally 30 seconds from my house i see a cop they are starring at me he turns around hauls ass get on my ass sirens and all and pulls me over...was a complete dick to me gives me ticket for not front plate and tints....all the corrupt cops can go to hell im so fed up with them all lately.:mad:

well,My ticket is about $1700 and 2 pts plus 1 month suspension :(
I have to pay for a lawyer now and the V1 investment was too late to save me because of the curve in freeway. I was suppose to serve jail time. F*ck the POLICE!

What did he pull you over for? I can't see it legal for him to just pull you over and THEN find something to ticket you for. I'd also look into if you have to roll up your windows.

I might be wrong, but don't they have to give a reason for pulling you over? At least all the times I was pulled over, I was given a reason.

OP was pulled over for license plate. If the cop does a walk around and sees other things, he'll mark those up as well. This will be marked as your word vs the cop's which isn't exactly in your favor.

sucks to hears those stories, but sometimes these cops take advantage just because they are police offers yet when there off duty.. some of them act like asses on the streets... and i know because i know some dudes yet they try to be all streak with others..
