Limited edition 2009 Mfest Calendar coming in November!!! [Archive]

We have planned on doing an Mfest calendar since June of this year and finally we started the shoot today (or should i say tonight:D) and i would like to thank Brandon and Jbs (JJ) for setting it up:hail: and Gbogh3 :hail:for the helping out especially with the traffic:rofl:...1 car done 12-14 more to go:D basically we will pick cars from you (mfest members and sponsors) and hopefully it will be released by December 7th (tentative) just in time for holidays...also we will put pics from our meets (local) and Mfest Vegas 1 and 2 on the calendar aswell...I will keep you guys updated aswell as feel free to post pics of your cars as they might be chosen for this years calendar...

Btw guys price of the calendar will be around $15-$20 and were planning on getting 1k calendars in which 500 will be for the sponsors...the calendar will be in Matte black (mfest style):D

I was there at 2pm but had to leave by 3pm...Thomas kept me company until some others showed up; Greg, John (who went to get a bite to eat) & Alex...

If the shoot wasn't gonna be until 3-3:30, please don't ask us to be there at 2pm because, I'm sorry to sound like an A$$hole, but my time has become very valuable with my daughter and wife, especially after what transpired out in AZ a week ago (wife had temporary amnesia for 2 days) and with everything that is going on with my family & friends back east (sister & best friend's wife given 1 month to live because of cancer) right now.

I do hope the photo shoot went well though!

If you have been to a photoshoot it does take alot of hours, as i have posted it is 2pm meeting not 2 pm photoshoot. I have to work around our photographers , participants and our sponsors schedule for this calendar. I totally understand your problem/s that your going thru and sympathize dearly, but we also have our own problems/duties to deal with aswell. next time as i told someone and anyone to pls pm me if there are some misunderstanding or needs some clarification/s. I'm not sure if were able to get it done on time :( as i don't want to release it if i'm not 100% satisfied with the result...you guys know how we do it;) ( If we rush it then we stand the risk of making mistakes ) the good news is we will be taking orders and payments and we will be be shipping them the week after 15th/16th so you'll have them in time:)

I've learned so much on this project that will definitely be carried over in preparation for Mfest 3!

but we'll see what happens:)...

sadly this is a new experience for me too. a lot has to do with specifics that were easily taken care of. After than it was preparing everything together. At this point i think we are 95% done. I am hoping we can get SOME printed in time for the 14th, maybe just a "few" to have as a display "demo" so people can purchase them at the event. But this should be 110% completed by tonight!

Too add.....its tough working with over 12 clients trying to prep everything together and making sure we have everything we need and in workable formats. As we didnt know when we original requested for this information.

Going forward like chris said, we will be more prepared for any "specifics" that need be addressed when requesting information.

Whether this be another calendar or a..... =X..... we will learn and grow as we all do.
