The Group 5 GTR gets the HKS treatment

So we decided to do some more power mods on the Group 5 Project GTR. As the car stood it had the following power mods..

Top Secret exhaust with valvetronic control
ARC intercooler kit

Now we added the following--
HKS GT570 kit
-HKS downpipes with cats
-HKS intercooler hard pipe kit
-HKS cooler heat range spark plugs
-HKS mid pipes
-Wastegate actuators for turbo's
-HKS panel filter
-HKS GTR spec EVC (boost controller)
so now the car is running around 19psi


An amazing difference!!

Yup..it performed 100% as advertised--clean smooth power with no issues with install at all. Time consuming but straight forward. Thumbs up to HKS for R&D

Hot on the heels of yesterday's HKS Genesis Coupe comes another highly anticipated project by the well known Japanese tuning firm. Referred to as the R35 GT570 Racing Package, the turbo enhancement kit seeks to reducing exhaust resistance via new reinforced wastegate actuators, new boost controller, aluminum intercooler pipe kit and a front exhaust pipe without catalytic converters, which therefore makes it not legal for road use. The result is 570PS or 562hp and 540 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. The sound is amazing.
