Hey Guys,

Got a problem with the E46 M3 Cabrio. When I make a hard turn the rear right wheel begins to make sounds like metal is sliding across in the wheels. I inspected the area numerous times and found nothing. It goes away but only comes back on hard turns.

The sound is pretty much like a screech of metal. Scares the hell out of me because sometimes I think my rear right is flat and I am running on just rim (obviously not the case) but that's the feeling of the sound.

Anyone in the Irvine, CA area or Laguna Niguel, West Covina, Chino, Ontario, La Jolla any of these places help me out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just got done: RTABS, Oil Change, Vanos, and Belts and pulleys changed.

Brake dust shield. I had a similar sound on the driver side, and after I took the wheel off and pushed it inboard a bit it was gone. So make sure it is tightly secured and not rubbing on the brake or wheel.
