The Following Over the counter products are great assets/products to have and they are easy to locate:
Available at the Harley Dealer:
S100 Wax=P21s (15 bucks for a very good wax)
S100 Metal Polishing Soap
S100 Wheel Cleaner-same as P21s wheel gel=one of the top 2 wheel cleaners.
S100 Cycle Wash= P21S TAW (very good vehicle soap) strips most waxes off...
S100 Cleaner wax= Same as P21S cleaner wax

Available over the counter nationwide:
Meguiars Ultimate Quick Detailer (Good QD spray)
Meguiars Ultimate Detailing Compound (good swirl remover)
Meguiars NXT (not too bad)
Meguiars #26 Carnuba Wax (decent)
Meguiars #21(pro edition of NXT)

Meguiars Purple Tire Gel =Good tire shine

Mothers Reflections: Good Sealant.

Clay Magic Clay Bar (same as all the other brands minus riccardo (Blue Magic owns all US patents to clay bars)

Blue Magic Alloy Polish= Awesome Stuff...will remove oxidation off anything and bling it to the max!!!!
And also it'll polish out your headlights decently (at least 70% better than prior to use).

Blue Coral Leather Cleaner (its rebranded from a more $$$ brand)..shh!

Proline Brand Grout Sponge= Very soft sponge to wash your car with and at a 1.39 it cannot be beat!

And what's the best orbital for the money that I can get?

i would recommend going with a porter cable 7424 for beginners but if you feel comfortable enough then you have a couple options, makita, flex, metabo, dewalt for rotary

What sort of pads and is there instructions using the porter cable?

there are many different pads that have their own purposes. for example there are pads with more cut to achieve more correcting power while others are purely for applying/final /LSP steps

yeah it works really well for stubborn stains..just spray..brush.....Saturate with water, then brush infront of a vacuum to put in those nice tiger stripes and let dry :)

Can you use the ultimate quick detailer on polished alloy wheels with clearcoat? I'm trying to find something to clean wheels without needing to hose it down after spraying.

The Meg's Ultimate series is better for OTC use.
