techniques will take you further than the products you are using. Once you understand what each step of the process is trying to achieve and how to do it correctly, you can properly decide on which products will best fit your needs, budget and most importantly, meet your detailing objectives

If I am going to do a full exterior detail I normally follow the following process:

1) Complete Wash (Some kind of good Car Wash Soap, Adams, Meguairs, etc..)
2)Clay Bar (The last one I used was Meguiars, They come two to a pack which is nice)
3) Using a PC G100 DA Polisher or by hand as indicated:
3a) PoorBoys SSR 2.5 (Purple) w/ Polishing Pad Or Meguairs Speed Glaze 80 *Cutting pad only on real bad sections
3b) PoorBoys SSR 1 (Pink) w/ Polishing Pad
3c) Klasse Polish *Hand Applied
3d) PoorBoys Sealant w/ finishing pad
3e) s100 Carnuba (P21s) *Hand Applied

That pretty much takes a good part of the day, but if I still have time I'll jack up the car and pull each wheel off and clean them by hand and apply Wheel Wax.

Happy Detailing.....

I agree with Pro Detail. I recently acquired a ton of professional grade products however non of which would be effective if I hadn't spent a majority of my time researching proper detailing procedures.
