There is a evacuation in place, but they have not gone door to door. The fire is still about 1/2 mile or so away.....

Oh wow, hopefully it doesn't move further. I had class all day today and was looking at the fire grow throughout the day. When I left class at 8 PM it seemed to have gotten bigger. I was looking at the flames on my way home. Hopefully they control it and put it out fairly quickly and no damage is done.

HaHa...
The Chin is safe and sound. We had him all packed up ready to hit the road if we got word. Things is Porter Ranch seem to be better today. It looks like the fire has moved on to other locations, so there is still danger, but not nearly as bad as yesterday..

This year is A LOT better then last year. The Santa Ana winds aren't as harsh or lasting that long - which makes for a better condition! Camp Pendleton is burning up too!
