Krueger///M3

Hey guys, I decided to post up what happened on the way to ///MFest 2 by suggestion of Laidback.
Cliff Notes:
-Got the ///M3 all tricked out for ///MFest by 503 Motoring (Put on AC Schnitzer Type 3s, H&R Sport Springs, Full 3M package, 503 Motoring Vinyls)
-Hit a semi-truck tire at 80-90 at 2:30 AM.
-Oil cooler was broken along with front bumper.
-Left the car at Niello BMW while we drove to ///MFest in a Hyundai rental.
-Had a great time at ///MFest!
Full Story:///M Fest was very good this year and had many very awesome M cars at it. A special thanks to Laidback and other M Fest organizers. However, there was a bad part of the trip for us. I have to get my photos edited on my other computer to be able to post them on this website, so I am sorry if this is a teaser thread in advance... Our Jerez Black M3 was prepped on Thursday before we left by 503 Motoring (Very good company) We had the bottom of the exhaust painted so it doesn't show beneath the car, we had H&R Sport springs installed (awesome mod), we had the 3M applied, the tint redone from a previous installation, we had awesome 503 Decals and vinyls installed on the car for the show (you have to see the pictures to understand), and we had our AC Schnitzer Type III wheels put on the car, along with the car being detailed (wax, clay bar, etc.). So, we borrowed the radar detector and hit the road to Vegas. We were in Lodi, CA when we met up with the beautiful Laguna Seca HPF, wide body E46 M3 and the silver HPF M3. This was completely coincidental but we were excited to see them. We changed into the left lane in front of the Laguna M3 that was in the right lane and behind the Silver other HPF in the right lane. That's when we suddenly saw a semi truck tire on it's side in the middle of the road (Mind you, this is 2:30 AM and there is a car alongside us and off-road on the otherside.) We then ran into the tire, it was unavoidable. The car must have jumped, 6-12 inches on the right side after running over the tire. We immediatley pulled off at the next exit, but the M3, as many should know, cannot be turned off without being stopped. So a low oil pressure came on and we knew it was bad. We then realized that we had sprayed I-5 in several liters of oil. We looked at the exterior and the entire right side was drenched in oil! The oil cooler was destroyed and the front bumper was dented. We later talked to the owners of the Laguna WB and Silver M3, they said that they saw pieces flying and sparks when it happened, and the widebody Laguna was drenched in oil. We called BMW assist and had them tow the car to Niello BMW on a flat bed. We got to drive to M Fest in a V6 Hyundai Sonata.
Follow-Up: So, in the end it didn't turn out that bad, the oiler cooler was replaced, the front bumper will be replaced with a Euro one hopefully, and I will be getting a Remus Race exhaust to replace the stock one that was "scratched up." Other than that, the only other pieces that are being replaced are those that were scratched up a little like the front shielding piece under the car.
