Hey guys you think its worth it to drop 400$ on CF sideskirts? I have always wanted them but when I think about it 400$ and than + paint is gonna add up and I can basically get a hood...Idno wtf to do...I always try to keep my ride unique and I do not want to get a regular old Vosteiner hood (played out if you ask me no offense to any of the guys that got it ;))
These are how the sideskirts look painted btw...they are the GTR sides...

Comments please? Should I keep the money and save up for a hood? If so what hood? I need to make up my mind ASAP!

looks is not my biggest priority but plays some importance, more on the performance level what benefits will these have for you? I dont think you'll save much weight, I wouldn't do it because the cost to result ratio isnt as great as other mods ie hood/trunk.
I agree with the common vorsteiner vented hood, if I went with vorsteiner i would either get the stock look or the single vented rather than the common double vented.

i would go for the hood. i never liked how the gtr side skirts look like there just glued on as well as how far down it drops the car compared to the rear bumper

Edwin don't do it! get the hood instead, it may be played out but it stands out way more!!!! Or invest in interior: Recaros!

Good idea, anyways remember that your car is an expression of YOU. Do whatever you like with it! Don't feel pressured to change what you want to do because a few bmw whores like us don't like it.

Edwin, there's only so much cosmetic mods you can do (unless you go all out custom interior and stuff like that). I say you expand to engine/perf. mods, do u have headers/gears yet?

Nope and nope. I honestly try to stay away from engine mods just for warranty reasons and I just cannot spend that much for such little power. I am sorry if I am bagging on some of the S/C guys but that much money for that little power doesn't do justice for me. I have seen Stage I S/C cars with my own eyes get pulled on by one of my 335 friends who just has maybe 1500$ in mods (ask Mario I am sure he will contribute to this :p even though he is not the friend I am talking about).
Eventually I am going to get another car and that one will be modded for power. I love turbo car's to be honest and if I am going to mod the engine it will be with some kind of turbo car. Hopefully in the future I shall but I have no need for the power with the M at the moment so I just keep taking care of exterior :D  Also if I got 50% off a V/F kit like you did Fidel I would consider it as well ;) How is the kit doing btw?

lol I don't know about 335's pullin on me... but well see haha!
Kits doing fine bro! hey you know what!? I saw a cool cosmetic mod at SocalEuro
The AW Falken M3 has slits on the front fenders under the sidemarker turn signal light- and another pair of slits on the rear bumper behind the rear fenders. I thought they looked sick!!!!http://i617.photobucket.com/albums/tt259/coresare/Big%20SoCal%20Euro/DSC_9356.jpg
(couldn't find a side pic, but it's the M3 on the right)
