well, went down to the show on saturday. nothing really special. but i can say this, those guys did put on one nice grand opening! i'm sure they expected more people ... so there was a lot of food stuff. so unlimited hot dogs and everything else, including snow cones! which was a welcome treat in the hot weather.

to bad i didn't see any MFesters ... it would have made the day better and thanks to JR for not coming as i won "Best Engine" ... hehe.

:hmm: apparently you have an issue with VTEC. I don't know about you but i started off with a Honda and will ALWAYS have respect for them. I understand there are some less than intelligent drivers out there who like to flaunt their stuff by "VTEC'ing" their way out of a meet but let's not blame it on the car by throwing out negative comments such as the one i highlighted.

And one last thing... Some people don't like loud, tinny, raspy, straight piped, or as you call them, "annoying" exhaust systems but some do. Leave it at that and just say to each his own.

well to be honest umm bro i started out with a DC4 integra and have grown up in the honda scene my whole life and yea i respect the honda world but there is a thin line between nice and rice. Hearing that all day after awhile kinda gets annoying not to mention its the same guys with the half painted Eg hatch or Ef with no backseats rocking a Sprite badge. I have always grown up with in the JDM an respect people when they have a nice flowing car ok. But that said enough dude i respect some hondas but not all ok and if u dnt believe me heres some cars we've build from a 2000si to a DC GSR

1 - oh believe me, i know there is a thin lin between rice & nice. You don't have to tell me. I came from a 96 Integra LS Special, 100 shot... EG 2litre LSVTEC, JDM type r suspension, GSR Interior... 88 EF aka RoboCar... 03 EVO VIII...

all my car roots are based in Japanese Domestic Market... I've worked for CARisma Automobil Tecnik, Fastrak Motorsport... Have ties with Turbonetics, RevHard, Do It Dyno, Sonic Racing, GPR Auto, Kosoku... it's endless! so believe me... you don't need to list your history with where you started. i wasn't asking for that.

all i was saying is respect all cars. no matter if they have a fart can or not. no matter if they have a euro or jdm. no matter if its american muscle or a prissy pink car. just respect is all we ask for in MFEST. Making a generalized statement like the one i originally highlighted is what triggered me. It sounded like, the even sucked cause of the sound of VTEC exhausts. People take pride in their cars just like you take pride in wrenching your car or customizing it. Just try to understand all sides. :thumbsup:


2 - oh i know it gets annoying... i feel like everytime i'm on the other boards i have to defend Honda's or JDM in some way or another.
