I just DL'd Photomatix Pro for my HDR stuff... i'm still new @ HDR and photo editting in general.

Please post any pictures you have taken in HDR. Any tips & tricks would help also!! kfankz

I think HDR is more about experimenting. Each photo is different and its hard to have a good guideline of what works well with everything.

Here's some HDR shots I've taken

i agree... it's more of the "artist's" concept of what he/she likes in the photo. i've only tried one HDR photo with my handheld Panasonic. Will post later tonight if i get a chance. it's not that great but i'm still learning :)

With HDR, I think its all about practice. For me, its about recognizing where the use of HDR would be best and bracketing so I get all the tones that I want.

The Rebel XT is still a VERY capable camera. Thats what I started out on. It's not the gear.. it's how you know how to use it

get a nice even hump in the center on your histogram when tone mapping your images. Set the smoothing so that you dont get the halo'ing effect on high contrast areas. just my 2 cents
