I am a newbie around here and I posted a few photo's of my M5 in another thread. But I thought I would start a thread with some more pics from a fun drive I took in Aug. Plus I ran out of casino cash already so I need some more!

This is from the Ice Cream Drive. We left the Seattle area just after traffic around 9am and drove 300 miles through the North Cascades HWY to a little town call Winthrop to get some Ice Cream.

Do you happen to know if the black matte finish on the Gumball Ford GT was done by paint or by vinyl wrap? I've never seen a matte black one, and was just wondering they did a full repaint. In any event, I like it. Thanks for sharing the photos. Looks like a great time.

It is a wrap. If you are interested I can get the company contact for you. IIRC, they are in Texas somewhere. The owner of the FGT is working out a deal to offer their services here in the Seattle area out of his detail shop.

We had mountain side on one side of the road and a river on the other side of the road and you could see for miles. I was behind the CGT and the FGT (both have straight pipes) we were doing 140+, I had Rage "Bulls on Parade" cranked as loud as it would go and we went into a tunnel. My god! It was complete sensory overload. I rolled down the windows and listened to the notes of those two cars with some good tunes cranked up...it was better than sex! I felt like I was going under the tunnel at Monaco during the F1 race. It was all I could do to not pull over and enjoy a little self...well you know what I mean! If my wife were with me we WOULD have pulled over for sure. It was bliss!

The M held its own all day long, it got complete respect from everyone. We may not do it as often as you do in SoCal but we have some fun rides up here in the great northwest too =)
