LOL indeed...
I am always down to play some golf!!! But uh... how about some time in the fall/winter when it gets SLIGHTLY cooler in SoCal.
I think I'm going to purchase Nike's new VR iron set. They are really easy to hit, and are Victory Red -inspired by Tiger himself! =p

i've got tons...but depends on how much you wanna spend :) golf clubs were my thing before emmalynne (my car).
and what kind of clubs i think i might have a starter set that i could probably sell to you for pretty cheap. also depends on how much power you can generate from your swing.
I play...
lets do this! first mfest golf tourney... +1

more about the impact zone...its how square/flush you make contact with the ball i'm not the biggest guy out there but still hit it further then most.
it is also about weight shift, if you have it all time together you maximize your momentum therefore the ball will go further...
its ok if we ever go to the range i'll show you all how its done ;)

hmm I've been told by my friends to spend 200-400 on a set of avg starter clubs?

ehh...you can...but then you'll quickly get rid of all of it really quickly. i started out with a 200 dollar set and that turn out to be a waste and i quickly tossed them...
I could set you up with a decent set that you can use for the first 2-3 years and you'll be fine I just would need to see some of your numbers to fit you into a set.
Just go to a local golfsmith or golf galaxy and just hit a few drivers see what your swing speed and launch angle is or if you really new just let me know and all of us could just go out for fun I have an extra set you can use...sorta

I'm pretty new.. I've been to the driving range about.. 10 times. My swing isnt really consistent. I've played a quick round of 9 holes, but had to let a lot of people play through because we were hitting the balls everywhere hahah
We should all go out to the driving range some time! I'm sure a lot of us could use some tips

Irvine here
This would be a nice meet. I am up in Valencia.
There is a driving range in Sun Valley, $20 unlimited range balls from 8:00am-2:00pm, same owner as the Hudson dam course.
Question for some of you guys, what is the average green fees you guys pay at the place you guys go to? You guys go on the weekend, weekdays, or twill light?

i'm right by there...that range sucks...i go to the woodley lakes one you acutally get to hit off of grass but I pay on the weekdays after work 15-20 bucks and weekends is usually in the 100-200 range.
