Flavio Briatore certainly deserves a banning for conspiring to ask Nelson Piquet Jr. to crash to allow Alonso a better placing in the race. Though I'm not sure I agree with the 2 year ban against Renault in all of Formula one (since it was really a general managers decision, instead of a team decision), I still feel that this actually makes next season a lot more interesting.

I've also heard some rumors from some 'friends' that because Alonso is now technically out in the open because of the ban, it'll be a lot easier for Ferrari to drop Giancarlo Fisichella and pick up Fernando Alonso. But that all depends on how he does in Singapore as well as the rest of the season... Most have high hopes, but but I could care less... Kimi Räikkönen wont be there next season so I'm depressed :(

It should certainly be very exciting next year though. Especially with the coming of a US born F1 team as well as (most of which have not heard yet), but the very famous Lotus team is coming back. Though regulations through the FIA have stated several new rules that I do not agree with, one being the fact that there will NOT be any more fuel pit stops, I certainly hope that F1 stays alive, as there have been concerns of F1 being stopped completely...
