Not sure about their maintenance:confused:You should get an e30 m3 Chris!
Maintenance is not to bad, pretty easy do it yourself most of the time. Even valve adjustments are not bad on the e30. Doing upgrades and looking for parts is pretty easy. Craigslist and junk yards are the best bet.
Ex. I did a full tranny swap to a manual on my e30, and all the parts found on criagslist for $300.
When ever you get one, I know lots of places to get part for these cars.

Hmm good luck finding an M3 for less than 20k haha id go with an is or an ix
Plenty of nice condition E30 in your area... Got a '91 318i last July in LA and has been running strong for over a year now...
Not sure of your purpose for the E30 but I'd highly suggest a 318i for a DD.

Isn't the 325 iS the most desirable (last few years) and if you do the E36 headswap you have one beast of a car?
