I'll be happy to house Lola or Lucio while you welcome the new E30 M3 to your household. :thinkerg:

It is more expensive than all other M's with the exception of e28 and e34's. The parts are just becoming more and more rare and top it off with the fact that the cars are just getting old and you have a recipe for an expensive soup. I have owned 3 e30 M3's and some were more expensive to maintain than others, but overall to keep them in 100% condition required replacing or fixing something almost every other week.

Only problem there is you would not get a pretty good resell value for a e30 M3 purist.
But, if you do the swap you would get a much more reliable car with a e30 M3 body.

If you were to get one, that is the car not to beat up on, they are more to just drive around since you don't want to break anything in spirited driving.
I know if I had one, I will drive it pretty hard, I that is why I stuck to a regular e30. I would really feel bad for the M3 if I drove it... he he and my wallet too. :D

Step up to the plate!! you can go one of two ways, keep it pure, to hold value (avg 16k) or just go crazy! Most parts are readily available, if you know where to look and yeah, maintenance is not that big of a deal.. but the car like any beautiful woman, is really picky and high maintenance... you have to keep driving it to keep it happy. I mean drive it hard, the car was meant to be driven that way anyways. Happiest over 4500 rpm.

Myself, I'm stuck in the middle. After the upcoming paint refreshing, wheels and interior... Im tempted to fix up the engine... but it would be crossing the point of no return!

Maybe we'll bring the E36 for Mfest4.. depending on when it is.:D
