How much did you pay? if you DIY how much is the disposal fee, is it a hassle to change your own oil?

I did my own oil service about 2k miles ago.
mobil 1 0w40 and mann filters.
It's sooooooooooo easy to change the oil on the E39. I can do it topside with my extraction pump or jack the car up and do it the traditional way.
Because E39 drain plugs are easily stripped and my car is low enough to make it a hassle to jack it up, I usually just pump my oil out topside. Takes me about 20min start to finish...LOL!!!!

yeah i use my mity vac as well i think it costs me on average $40 with my filter and oil...
Do you guys have reset tool for your car.

yup i have a peake tool...
Nice,,,, going to take my car in tomorrow and its due for brakes as well.
Just repaired the seat adjustment module, I hate the plastic thing... those seem to always be a problem for me. It plastic broke on my last e39 also.
This month for me is just maintenance month for me. :(

i can extract all of my oil... i havent dropped the pan after, but i pull the oil and ive opened the oil pan drain plug nothing...
