How much do you pay to get an oil service or do you DIY if yes is it more than hassle to do it than let someone do it for you? how much is the disposal fee and how to properly dispose your oil...

Well... Right now it's $0 due to the extended maintenance plan. I recall that most dealers charge around $200 for an oil service.
When my plan expires all most likely do it all myself. Buy the filters in bulk get the 10w60 wherever I can for a fair price and recycle the oil for free at the local autoparts store.

Yeah, 10w60oil for an M is more expensive than conventional oil. You can usually get it for $10-14.00. I once paid, $14.xx per qt. at Irvine BMW. TMS currently has it for $12.95.
Usually, the only time I take my car to the dealer for an oil change, is when there's a special going on, like the recent one at Savage BMW, where they offered an oil/filter change & 30 point inspection for $99.
I try to change the oil every 7k miles. I don't have a garage, and my complex doesn't allow us work on our cars. So it's kinda hard to use a jack and stands to get underneath the car, so I use a oil/fluid extractor to pump it out via the dipstick.
When I'm done, I take the used oil over to Autozone for free disposal.
