you didnt mention all of the rubbing/cutting compounds that must have been used. you cannot simply go from 3000grit wetsand to wax?

I can post a step by step how to :P
Well first off I washed the car's hood.
Second claybared it then QD wiped it off.

Put the pieces of sandpaper in distilled water
Then I started with the 2000 grit and worked my way up to 3000 but when it didn't cut enough worked back to 1500 then worked my way up to 3000 again..making sure the surface was always wet and the paper was too...

After a rinse-off of the area I started with Menzerna Power Gloss (orange pad)
Then Menzerna SIP (on Orange)
then 106 on White
and lastly PO85RD on black
:)
Topped off with Collinite 915 although I have the Nattys on the hood
