iPhone Mobile Version just launched

If you are talking about on your iPhone, then no because there is coding in there that detects if you have an iPhone and will automically route you to the proper skin which is this one for mobile devices.

If i remove that then people wouldn't be able to use the skin properly.

Let me see if there is a work around for this....maybe i can come up with a hacked version of it so we could do that.

Okay here is the deal on this. We have a couple options on how the mobile versions will work.

I can have it setup as it is now, where it will automatically route you if you come to mfestforum.com from your phone to:

A: do a simple skin for normal mobile users
B: go to iPhone skin for iPhone/iPod users

That is how it is now. The only thing with that since I am doing the changing on the server side you can't pick your theme anymore on your phone. You will always get the mobile version.

The second option would be for me to take the auto redirect off so you would still go to mfestforum.com and then you would get your regular version. To get mobile versions you would have to

A: type in m.mfestforum.com for mobile, blackeberry, regular phones
B: type in iphone.mfestforum.com for iPhones to get the proper skin

Let me know what you guys like...and I will go with a consensus.

well you get the simple mobile version..it's a text based version...have you tried it yet? You can also go to m.mfestforum.com and you will see a version for the blackberry once you sign in.

The iPhone edition is dope which I'm going to have to get use to but I like the normal version because I could see who posted last on the thread.

I like the old version aswell because I'm used to it. I like to look at things the same way they are shown on a computer too. But nice job on everything. I miss the old version though...

Your welcome. To make everyone happy I have done the following changes to the server so it works for whoever wants it. Now you can bookmark the versions you want instead of being forced into one.

http://mfestforum.com - Will take you to the standard computer version of the site.
http://m.mfestforum.com - Takes you to the simple text/blackberry version of the site.
http://iphone.mfestforum.com - Takes you to the new iphone version that i worked on.

So hopefully this will now be a fix for everyone and there won't be any fighting haha...
