E39 shift knob LED bulb upgrade

Here you go for sharing. I did this mod about 2 years ago.

My original shift knob LED started flickering so I thought might as well replace it with my favorite color LED - BLUE.

Matches my beasts body color.

Easy upgrade.

Sorry I am not familiar with E46 SMG shifter. My wife's car is a 2002 330ci. Shift knob on her car is not lighted.
