View Full Version : Streamline Elbow Mod by EAS?

What do you guys think about this performance mod? I guess I find it hard how a simple elbow piece could give you that much power?
(heard some claims that it gives you 10hp? anyone tried this yet?)

i had it before, and i liked it. you can tell something is there since the power deliverey is much smoother.

Try the RPI scoops proven power for less...there is a grp buy on them on the sponsor section....What do you guys think about this performance mod? I guess I find it hard how a simple elbow piece could give you that much power?

Installed this mod on Friday... new elbow and air filter:

Definately felt different, felt like Nem3ses can breath better. Filter is supposed to be way less restrictive with air over the stock one (which I think hadn't been replaced in a while!)
Didn't notice a change in exhaust tone, (stock), although it seems like the rasp comes in at a less rpm than before which i don't mind

Bottomline: a little pricey but if you wanna change the filter, what the hell might as well do this...

Installation: a breeze! elbow fits snug yet, goes on easy. It might be one of the easiest DIY I've done lol...

Since BPS is taking forever with my order which is about 2 months now and has been dead beat with my messages sent. I've went ahead and order these at EAS. Glad you like them. Can't wait!

Those RPI scoops look interesting aswell.

Yea Im raising an eyebrow on the RPI scoops, EAS shipped really quick, did here about BPS having these on backorder...sux.. its a worth it mod IMO

Agreed.. am very well pleased with EAS having the SE filter and SE air duct available. I've always been curious how these combo would affect the cars performance. Ordered them earlier today and were shipped out later the today.. can't wait! Next is the RPI scoops.

well like i said, I felt like the car was breathing better, less congested. I did change out the filter as well,...

The throttle responce seemed cleaner too, like it didn't sputter at all u know..feels kinda like i have it in sport mode ... did a few pulls in S5 mode with sport mode on and it felt like it was pulling faster, mph climbing quicker, the higher the rpm the more nuts it has

With sound, I did notice right away that the S54 Rasp seems to come in at a lower rpm than it did before...kinda like the rasp so I didn't mind this at all...
