Good find. Subscribed. With the gas price still high i don't see a lot of people filling up their cars with this type of fuel.

I have filled up my car at this gas station with 100 Octane Gas but the pump states that there is Ethanol in the gas.
Now will this hurt performance?

That's a good question Gene...but iirc it's the amount of enthanol that is on the gas that hurt the perfomance and at 100 octane i think it should be ok...I have filled up my car at this gas station with 100 Octane Gas but the pump states that there is Ethanol in the gas.

SO is there no advantage to run race gas without F/I?

I haven't gotten it in NB for a while but my guess is a 16 gallon fillup = $128.00. Ouch...

Imho yes but if your doing highway driving, if instead of using fuel cleaner...it cleans up the fuel lines aswell...I normally pump on 100 octane on long trips and really get the engine working double time...
SO is there no advantage to run race gas without F/I?

You will notice a difference in power (the car pulls better)\, my advise is to mix 100 octane from 91 to get 94 iirc 4 gallons of 100 and 12 gallons of 91...this will give you a little bit of push;)

i know, just can't justify spending money for it unless we go on a friendly run in canyons or something, but not just driving around.

I did mix of 91/100 a couple times, time when there was a planned run and especially when breaking in a remap =)

I won't suggest it driving around town as it can contribute to CB, it has to be spirited driving...i know, just can't justify spending money for it unless we go on a friendly run in canyons or something, but not just driving around.

16103 Sherman Way, Van Nuys (818) 780-8209
Closes at 10:00 PM
Followed by these guys:
Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach Car Wash
18971 Beach Blvd near Garfield Ave., Huntington Beach (714) 847-4924
