Which tires do you use?

I use toyo t1r's in 235/45/17. I love them!

Decent grip in the dry. Quiet. Great in the wet. When they let go it's pretty gradual. I can get decent wear out of them with factory alignment and a canyon run at least twice a month.

Who's running either RA1's or Rt's on their E39 on the street? I want to try :D

I use the following:

General Exlcaim UHPs: 235/35/19 and 265/30/19s...great bang for the back...little noise, kinda lose on the turns...but for the budget conscious...this is your tire...

Kumho ECSTA SPT1s: 235/35/20 and 275/30/20s...traction is intense...even though i'm running on 20s...i always love the flat sidewall...compliments the offset more. and the tread is just...a few more bucks than the generals, but i'd choose it over the gens...

Toyo Proxes T1R: 245/35/19 and 275/30/19s...waiting for them to be installed on the new wheels =)...I'm sure I'm gonna have fun with em since I've been restricted on these 20s for the past few months...

I had a set of Vredestein Ultracs last year and loved em. They handled excellent, rain or dry. I barely felt any difference, if any, on wet road. I miss those tires. I am currently running a set of Nexen's. lets just say that I am in the market for tires again.

like 1000... they are affordable and actually alot of people are running them compared to ps2... tire rack gave it a great rating... so i jumped on a solid deal... only gripe i have is it is a tire that i thought was wider but it makes my wheels sorta look like a stretch... but i manage

Running Falkens 452's 245x35x19 front and 275x30x19 rear. Nice grip and pretty strong sidewall. If you want to have your wheels to poke, these tires are nice to use since they have nice stretch on them to get that Euro look.

I have also used Hankooks, good price and decent life on them, sidewall is not has strong as the Falkens, so taking them to the track is not has fun. Hamann tuning is using them on their cars now as they have a sponsorship with them.

Tip: if you looking for a thick sidewall going with the Yokohama are you best bet, but they don't stretch has nice as the Falkens. For example a 275x30x19 Yokohama tire looks like a 285x30x19 due to the Falkens stretch abilities on the sidewall.

The Sumi's are the biggest bang for the buck out there, IMHO, let's hope price creep (as seen since they were introduced) doesn't erode that "great deal" aspect.
