Many probably saw our prior warranty thread on Rich's HPF stage 3/4 M3 engine failure on this link.... http://www.mfestforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5734
We still don't know for sure what caused this, but we decided to warranty his motor out anyway. There was a likely possibility that the standard ARP head studs that were in his car stretched once he upgraded to stage 4 and the head may have lifted. This could have easily caused the head gasket failure between cylinders 3 and 4 and may have caused some of the other damage. His motor was the only built motor that left our shop without the newer (higher tensile strength) ARP L19 head studs and this was the unfortunate consequence of head studs stretching.
His car is now back to it's pristine stage 4 condition, and will be shipping it out to him after our final test drive. We will take final pictures of his M3 and I will post them up on this thread tomorrow.
