2nd *almost* Annual E36 GTG

Hey Guys,

A lot of people have been expressing that they want to have another E36 (plus anyone else who wants to go) Meet and Photoshoot. So, I have decided that I will get this ball rolling and officially start this off.

I will be posting more information on THIS 1ST POST as things start become official.

We need to vote on a few things:
1) Where will we meet
2) Where will we photoshoot
3) Who's are photographer(s) (Kuya Chris, a little help with this part please!!)
4) Date and time of the meet
5) Misc. Items

Can you guys please propose some of these items so we can vote on everything?

LOCATION OF MEET

keep in mind that this is where we will all gather FIRST so we can all roll to the photoshoot and other events of the day together. The meeting place has to have adaquete parking for all of us going. I believe there were at least 20 cars last time.

What about a shoot at the fork/crest at GMR?? That way getting up there will be fun and we can meet somewhere in Glendora/Azusa area

I want to attend this but it seems since more of you live in socal that is more likely the place it is going to be set, if so, i am going to skip out. I said in the another thread we should try San Luis Obispo. cause i think a lot of us in Norcal would like to get in on this action too.

ok put me on the list to show and i know it will take a few weeks to prepare and as i said before i will take care of food prep but will need helpers to cook up the feast and i will have to rent out a truck to transport grills and food. As for the rest i will need a ball park head count or RSVP to know how much to purchase . At BIG DADDY'S HOUSE i bought around 60lbs of carne asada and a few peeps ate it . I just want to particpate and show a good time to all of us M festers how we roll and keep the bmw life going .

I'm down for a gtg in SLO to meet up with norcal...we'll take the 154 thru Santa Barbara!

We should pick dates for both and that will help get a more accurate head count for who's actually going

There are two choices for location right now:

1) GMR/Azusa area
2) San Luis Obispo so the NorCal people can meet up too! :buttrock:

If the nor cal crew want to show you gotta remember 2yrs ago i drove from Arizona to come to bimmerfest just for one day i'm not bitching to you guys so dont take it that way . just come out to our side of town and when you have a b-b-q i will totally be there to support . To all, we are having a photo shoot for the e36ers and a b-b-q too . We would like to invite all bimmers whom would like to attend for the barbeque to meet and greet with everyone. Our newest club will be financing the cook out as an introduction of our new club to Mfest and would like to invite everyone, Europrojektz and any bimmer clubs that would like to attend are welcome . On this forum look to ooybisku aka calvin . he is setting it up and chris laidback will be getting the photographers set up and our club is feeding you guys. we would appreciate a check in or headcount on whom would be attending that way we buy enough burgers , doggies, and kabobs to pass around thanks...

How many cars could fit at the 1st photo shoot ? There is always a place a massive park off the 60frwy, The Whittier Narrows Recreation Park . 60frwy and Rosemead blvd . They have a good size lake plenty of room to take pics of cars. what do you think about it cal? It's a great neutrol area for West L.A. Orange Co, and the I.E cars . The park at the Whittier Narrows can accomodate 3,000 +cars . Keep in mind that i will be driving a high clearence truck mine! to transport the grills and food cal so i dont want to be driving through tite winding road with a truck like that . thanks..

Hey guys,

Just to let you know where I'm at location-wise.. I am REALLY digging the SLO location because there are MANY MANY photoshoot locations around that area, a really nice beach, etc. PLUS, we can actually have a SoCal - NorCal meet!!

BUT, a lot of SoCal members are still complaining that SLO is a little too far, so I'm really in a bind in what to do, and that's why I need your guys' help to figure this all out!

Just an update for you guys:

I will be meeting with Cary to discuss some things about the meet hopefully on Monday.

I am leaning towards the Whittier Narrows meeting location, with a drive to GMR if people are interested because it seems it would be easier for a lot of people.

I was thinking that we can ALTERNATE between a SoCal and NorCal location every year to make it fair for all the MFEST people in NorCal.

With all the events still coming up and chris throwing another b-b-q in late August ? We were thinking of having it in the middle of September and im buying the tacos for everyone so come with your appetite foods on me . Just bring the Ice thats it .

So it will be the 2ND E36 PHOTOSHOOT and The Introduction of Team Euro Concept new Car Club on the block .

Just to recap, its a photo shoot for the E36'ers but bring your "E" cars to the MEET AND GREET. come hang out , meet new and old friends eat on us and bring your bimmers. Mpressivv pass it around and let other bimmers know of whats being planned for Sept.
