To supercharge or not to supercharge....

I love my 528i, for many reasons, but once in a blue moon I find myself wanting more power. Usually this only happens when some 89 dodge caravan is revving me up looking for a race...:laughhard:. Most other times I'm pretty happy with the power of the car as it's just a cruiser and DD.

My question is....

If I were to supercharge my 528i what would be the drawbacks? Will it be a headache to take care of?
