Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would like to announce one of the greatest meets you will probably ever experience! On Sunday, November 30, 2008, we will all meet in the center of beautiful Beverly Hills, California and make our way on famous Sunset Blvd. to PCH (Pacific Coast Hwy) to one of the most famous, car/motorcycle enthused, best seafood restaurants you will probably ever get to experience called Neptune's Net.

If you remember the movie The Fast and the Furious, it is where they ate after the Ferrari race on the coast! Every Sunday, the hottest cars and bikes from all around go there for great, friendly people, an unforgettable meal, and to experience a show of bikes and cars like you've never seen!

The drive is 38 miles and will take approx. 1 hour of some of the greatest views Los Angeles has to offer.

At around 10am, we will meet at: 1200 Park Way, Beverly Hills, CA

At around 11am, we will all leave Beverly Hills together as a group and drive to: 42505 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA

Marina Del Rey has a LOT of great twisties for drives, and there are several "meets" that run on sundays...I'll prob. be running with a bunch of other Lotus' but would def. meet you guys for lunch at Neptunes....would be fun to drive the twisties there!

if i remember correct :iono: ... parking there is like horrible. if this is the place i'm thinking of, we had to park across the street (on the street, not lot parking).

I was planning since we will have such a great turn out that we can all take over the street parking across the street from the restaurant and line up together. Since the restaurant is across the street from the beach, we will park on the beach side of the street and park in an angle one after another. Since there is a small cliff the street is on with the beach/ocean behind it, the view of our cars from the restaurant will be perfect with the ocean right behind the cars! I wouldn't have chosen this location if it wasn't a great location.

Great idea. We will form the line at the event and it will look so great! I am looking into a hired photographer that I have used in the past so she will be a huge help with certain situations to get the best shots.. :D

Some of the members that are tentative about coming like to see what type of cars the event will host to persuade their decision. Along with the fact that it's a car forum so your car is like your ticket to membership in a way IMO. I still respect and support all the fans and guests on this site even if they don't drive a BMW! :)

Also, the list hasn't been updated in weeks so their will be many more people coming than what the list says. There will be some great cars and people at this event and I hope everyone has a blast!!! :D

They do not take reservations. It's all open and very beautiful but there are no waiters or anything like that. They have like 500 different beer brands, the greatest seafood and american food menu I've ever seen, a priceless view of the ocean/beach, and the best cars, bikes, and people from all over southern california! You stand in line, order, and when they call your number you get it from them. The line can get long and there is always the chance there won't be enough seats but we will all share tables and talk and laugh and it will be great no matter what! :D Hopefully since summer just ended it will have slowed down a little. :cool:

I would like to try and have everyone line up directly across the street from Neptune's Net on the beachside in an angled parking position one after another..... So when you're at Neptune's facing the beach, you see the cars first! :D

Thank you so much to everyone that supported and came to this meet! I had the best time, as I know many of you did too!!! The weather was great, the food was great, the people were great, the cars were great. I am planning a second Beverly Hills/Malibu meet for around February so I'll keep everyone posted. I'm uploading the pics right now so they'll be up shortly. I don't know if I should post them here or on the Beverly Hills/Malibu pictures thread someone else started.....

Can't wait to see everyone in two weeks for the Toys for Tots event which will be awesome!!!!!!
