Good morning. Dinner meet last night went well. We had a really good turn out – about 15 e46’s and e92’s + Chris’s Z4Mc and a couple non bmw’s. Total of like 28 people. We ended up eating at “Boston’s”. Their food and service, in my opinion could have been better. But oh well, now we know not to go there anymore. Overall it was a good meet. Let’s keep it up.

Wow,I am bad luck. I got pulled over again today:o :mad:.That is 2 times in less than a week. He was in carpool lane and I was next to it. He came up next to me in stealth mode. I didnt even see him and I was going like 75-80. As soon as I saw him in my mirror, I took my foot off gas. He passed me up, looked back at me and slammed his brakes. He pulled me over, and asked about my euro plate. I told him I have a ticket on that already. He just said to get it fixed and to slow down after checking my registration.:D

Ah another Europlate pull =p I'm probably going to keep mine up as long as I can as well. I didn't know the ticket was the same as a no front plate ticket until you told me. Hopefully I don't get pulled over anytime soon :D

Damn anyone noticed the temp for the couple of days was really HIGH here in SoCal? i was driving and i was chatting with Jo when i saw my temp gauge was up 105 degrees:eek: but i felt cool inside ...i had to ask Jo to check the weather report in my area to see if it might just be a sensor gone bad and he told me that my car temp was right:)... I recently had the windshield tinted ceramic and i think it really helped:cool:

Got pulled over for my europlate last night. Same type of behavior BMW-Prince experienced. Pulled up behind me followed me for a bit, crawled up beside me for a few seconds, then braked and pulled in behind me and threw on lights. No ticket though since I"m still "waiting for my plates". :D

Got pulled over for my europlate last night. Same type of behavior BMW-Prince experienced. Pulled up behind me followed me for a bit, crawled up beside me for a few seconds, then braked and pulled in behind me and threw on lights. No ticket though since I"m still "waiting for my plates". :D

Mission Auto Sound in Mission Viejo, I'll have to find the address. A guy named michael there, who is an e60 owner, is great. He did some stuff for my e38 in the past and everything was perfect. I will definitely be taking my cars back there if I need work done.

Had a horrible experience with Al & Eds. Lost all my dash lights (a new fuse fixed some of it, but not all) wired some of my speakers horrible, so a buzz ensued, fitment of the head unit was off. I took it back multiple times, they ended up ordering a part. I waited a month, called, they hadn't had the part in, waited a few more weeks still no part.

Turns out the owner sold the shop and there was a new owner who was taking car of everyone's problem, so I started from step 1 again. He had to contact the previous shop owner about the part they "ordered" for me, which probably never happened and I never got a call back from the shop owner. I ended up selling the car before this ordeal was taken care of but I will never get work done at Al and Eds again.
