As far as i know , there are many shades of British Racing Green . I don't know if e36 m3 GT was painted in many shades or is only one colour code for it. I opened this thread to discuss this problem and to learn from who knows better .

If i see good first three pictures is not the same shade with last three , isn't?

another question: is it enough to request just this simple code 312 ? or it also require another code to mix the paint? For example here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_racing_green in right side are some HEX codes for diferent shades , but i don't know how every shade looks on the car .

I have no idea of the codes. If you're getting the car painted at an actual paint shop, collision center, or dealership, they'll have a humongous book of color codes. Look up BMW, the year, the model it came OEM on, and there you go- you'll find probably only one BRG and it's code.

Otherwise, you can give them just the three digit code and that's fine. At least when I got mine painted Imola II, I said '405' and she came out right. ;)

Good luck!
