not to sound ignorant but can you explain what your product actually does and the benefits of it please?
The Huper Ceramic Films are designed to give you excellent heat reduction without having to use a Limo dark film or a highly metallic film to achieve the same or even better comfort level in the cabin of your vehicle. This product will aslo protect from all the UV/A and UV/B as well as Infra Red from pentetrating into your car, which can cause fading and cracking of leather, dash board and custom upholstery. Imagine aplying SPF 200 to your windows, this will give you tremendous health benefits for your skin.
The product is completely Dye Free and Metal Free and is the only pantented product in the window film industry. You can now use a much lighter film, 60%-30% VLT (visible light transmission) film to achieve a comfort level that you can not have normally achieved with conventienal films no matter how dark the film.
The Ceramic film is also a good way to avoid an illegal window film ticket because of its lightness.
Huper Ceramic films will not fade, get lighter or interfere with factory mobile electronics. Conventienal non metal films will not interfere as well but in about 2-3 years you will notice the real dark films will fade and change colors to something purple or something bubbly.
They have improved on the conventienal films with excruted type films. These do not have dyed laminate but instead the polymeres of the polyester is what make up the color of the film. This process allows for a better color stable product that some manufactures will give a lifetime warranty against fading. This is also a metal free product, so if you are looking for some privacy and not concerned about energy reduction, this would be the recommended product.
I hope this was helpful.

Han's products are great, ive had the Photochromatic film on my windshield for a couple of weeks and so far ive noticed that the clarity looking out is much more crisp, and you dont feel the heat on your face, those are two big + for me, now i just gotta get my sides done and the rear windshield as well.

Yes Sir, it's what we like to call window filming your front windshield. The products we use is like Solar Screen for your frontwindshield
Hann,
Solar screen is for the front windshield right?
Hello Ed, if I'm not mistaken you have a product on your winddshield, do you not?
If you don't, it's like the same stuff you have on the sides of your car, but for your front WS. Lighter in shade but just as effective.
what about the solar screen sir!?!?

You know one thing about Hann...is that the products he stands by is just a bonus. Reason why I had him do my tint is not because his film is the gucci of tint, but because his knowledge and his customer service is in a league of its own!!!
For those who need your tint done, don't look elsewhere. It's to say the least that Hann's services is a priviledge for your beast! and a GB like this is something not to be passed!

Solar Screen is what we like to call front WS filming. It help to destingish the type of application that is ordered for your car. for instance ex. SS 50% Huper or SS PHC (PhotoChromatic).
As far as the product, if you are looking for a super lite film I would recommend the PHC 60% film because the performance is equal to the Huper Ceramic 50%
Regards to look, I like the way they both look. Of course the Huper Ceramic 50% will give additional glare reduction compared to the PHC but they both look good.
Laidback has the Huper C50% on his windshield, check it this Tuesday.

MFEST peeps...don't sleep on this group buy. STM has tinted both my touring and my clk. Both cars were done 40% all around and 50% front windshield. I chose da Huper Optik and am very pleased with how well it keeps da heat out. I've also had STM tint my cousins touring, DJ OA(Joel) our MFEST DJ's e60, and absolutely love the staff at STM. Thanks to Han,Eugene, and da rest of da crew at STM for always taking care of me and my ohana.
aloha,

I would totally do this, but stupid window seal on my e90 M3 scratches the tint.
Hann is there any film that can be installed without removing the seal? Or do you know of anyone that has a LCI e90 m3 that hasn't had any problems?

I do not know of any e90's that have not, at some time or another, come across this problem. The problem is caused from the 2nd blade inside the door seal, that seal does not have any felt on it.
What we are considering doing to all future 2 door and 4 door e90's installs is removing the door panels and shave away about a 1/4 of an inch off of the 2nd blade from the door seal. This will help take some of the direct pressure off from pressing up against the window and film when you roll up and down the window. The concern I have is when we do cut away some of the 2nd blade will it catch on the glass and film when the window is being rolled down, will it get stuck and jam the window from rolling down. I think I will need to buy a spare door panel plade and test to see the results.
This will involve removing the door panels and re-installing them after completed. There is an additional labor cost of $25.00 per door to have this done.
Do you have film on your e90 now? Do you want to be our test car and in return I will comp a certain precentage of the install.
hit me up and let me know.

Hey Fellas,
Here is Constatines e9X with the Huper 40% on all the windows except ws.
we removed the existing Llumar film and trimmed away the the 2nd blade from the window gaskets of all 4 doors, this was done to prevent any future scratches from rolling the window up and down.
The car looks good now and feels good too. :thumbsup2:
check it out!

Our normal removal cost is $140.00 for a standard sedan. I've been charging $0 - $50 during this group buy, depending on the work order of your car.
If the work order includes complete + windshield we won't charge for removal but stop by the shop and let us show you what we have and we can package up a sweet deal for you. :D

Rolin,
try and swing by around 1pm. it will only take about 10 minutes to touch up the dot matrix.
Mfest cost for the ClearPlex film is $180 - $200, depending on the size of the glass. since your is a compact size glass it's $180 and it will take about an hour to install.

Get on this one. It's the real deal!!!!
IRR% 69%
UVLR 99.99%
Glare reduction 45%
What this meant to me after HO film....
Way cool interior temp even with 100+ outside
A/C only has to run on low
Interior not at risk of fade/UV damage
Very little need to use sunglasses unless during the brightest time of the day.
Make sure you do all windows to get maximum IRR

If the scratches are on the tint, we can prevent that from happening in the future.
if you plan on changing out the ws i suggest you wait until then for the ClearPlex. If you do not plan on changing the ws i would then suggest installing the ClearPlex, in order to prevent aquiring any new chips, that can lead into a crack.
You can deffinitely get it done after Mfest, unfortunately I wont be able to honor the group buy pricing. Spots are filling quick and you have until Thusday the Eve of the journey. :excited:

hey fellas, new member/first time poster here!
@Hann - hey! this is Ed.. I talked to you late last week about the HO tint for the 250. do you have some time this week before you guys take off for mfest (vegas I think you were saying)? I can even bring it in sometime early tomorrow if that'd work.. or thurs would be even better.
and a quick tint question.. in the link below (I hope doing this is ok), what % HO film is on teodulog's '06 arctic 330i?? 60 or 70? I'm interested in pretty much the lightest tint possible. Hann, I'm assuming SMT carries 60 and 70?

thanks in advance!! btw, you guys have some beautiful rides.. esp ironcheflam's M5.. *droooool*.. =D

Hi Ed & welcome to Mfest. I would be more than happy to take you in but I would not be able to offer you the GB price. This pricing is only offered to the Mfest "established" members. I will be able to offer you our Mfest cost which is 10% off of our everyday retail cost.
I don't know who SMT is but we carry VLT films from 65% - 30% in the Ceramic series. If you are looking for the lightest film than I think the PHC60 would be a good fit. let me know if you are looking to film your complete car or everything but the windshield.
As far as availability I have Wed, 14th @10:30 am & Thur 15th @ 2:30pm only. Please advise what would work best for you.

is the group buy rate still available?

Unfortunately the group buy is finished but Mfesters get 10% off retail pricing. Our normal retail cost for the Huper Ceramic film is $750 with windshield and $500 without. Mfest cost is $675 with and $450 without ws. the time of completion takes about 2 hours and 3 with windshield.
let me know if you would like to schedule an appointment.
thanks
Hann
