Thats a hard question! Well, im gonna have to say the 540, and 525 because i have actually driven both. I cant decide which i like more because the 540 was auto and i never got to experience it in a 6spd and my 525 is a 5 spd so its dead even for me.

Gotta be the 540. You've got 282hp/295 torque its almost M5 numbers except its power comes much earlier than the S38 so its a much better daily driver plus it comes in auto.

Who wants an auto 540 though? If i had the choice to get auto or the 6 spd, i would take the 6spd no doubt.

i guess it's kinda biased because i have one but i like the 525i haha

530i works just fine as daily driver for me :D (did i mention i'm biased :facepalm: too)
