I went with Roor_m3 today to pick up my car (Z4MC) at SouthBay Autohaus and Qais and Mark just finish installing some mods on their project GTR and he gave us a taste of what the new mods can do...and all i can say is    they turned it to a monster, lot's of tq/ hp low and upto high end and the amazing part is the car hooooks bigtime...i felt like riding the Superman ride at Magic mountain...and from the looks of it they might debut more stuff at MFest 3!!! (as we allow 5-10% non BMW's to come out and join us)...

I think if you abuse it that's when the warranty will be voided (just like other types of warranty)...sweet ride ive been thinking about one for a while but any one hear about the warranty and the tranny issue?

Tranny's are the weak point on the GTR...too bad it costs like 12k to replace it.

The main problem with the transmissions is people launching them.

Got a problem with a new feature on a flagship product?
Work it out and re-engineer, or just drop it like you never had it... :(
Would have been a great opportunity to show their pride and support in the project, but in a tough economy, sometimes the most cost-effective solution is the one that makes the cut.

like taking them out because they are leaking or prone to leaking, and then failing to replace them to maintain the enhancement...
