Just signed up. Im Adam in the "roy-esque" M5. My co-pilot (:shifty:) and I were talking about who was going to lead the caravan from Gilbert, def didnt think I was gonna be doing that, but that basically made the trip for me! Glad we all got there safe and ticketless though, it was good to meet all you guys.

I didn't get any pics but I know some were taken at Gustine by some of the guys. I wasn't thinking cameras at 0200......
I think the caravan went well and we got to Barstow without tickets and on time. Everyone was driving "safe and sane". We did run into a "crazy" motorhome who was trying to drive the wheels off of it..... :drive2: What more could you ask for on a 600 mi Caravan(for me at least). I think the stops were good and we need to plan more of the same for Mfest V.

It was great to have you join the NorCal Caravan. We knew we had company, he was waiting across the street for us to leave Gustine. Since we are are all law abiding guys, there was nothing to worry about. He took his exit after getting bored.

Hey Fo, was great to spend the early morning hours with you on the road. Gotta do it again. Remember to join us at Concorso in August. That will be a show you will not forget. Mfest will be showing big at this event!!!!

i was thinking about it but have decided not too. have too much going on other weekends around the same time.

depends. i went last year for the first time. it was ok but DEFINITELY not worth the 40 dollar admission fee.
if lots and lots of m3's are your thing then i'd say go just to check it out. there were some neat cars there but nothing that would draw me back again.

Yes this year my car will be at the HPF booth. Last year my car was in the VF-Engineering booth as I had a VF-E S/C freshly installed right before Bimmerfest 09.

Great meeting you and your son on the NorCal Caravan. Congrats on the bike.
Since you are in NorCal, make sure you check out the Concorso Italiano thread. It is going to happen in August. It is an event you will not want to miss. Bring your camera!!!!

there was some discrepancy about that... the cars that got there early(i.e. when it started) were charged 40 bucks to get in. later on in the morning it turned to just 20.
